We've always believed that the core issues that govern all of life are not economic, political, sociological or psycological. They are theological. The position we take is that the universe and everything in it was created by God. God did not stop there. He takes a personal hand in everything that happens in the universe and most particularly planet earth. Man, originally created in the image of God, became an imperfect and fallen being when he disobeyed God in the garden of Eden several thousands (not millions) of years ago. Man was condemed at that time. In Genesis we learn:

"Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; For dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” Genesis 3:17-19

But man was not left to die as God said then. He loved the earth so much that He sent His only Son to die in order take the punishment for man's disobedience. It is a complicated story, but one we know to be true. Why? Faith? Yes, of course. But more than that! Because, in a world where ultimate truth is truly beyond us, it is the only thing that makes any sense.

By now, you've figured out that our approach is distinctly Christian. In the books that follow, we offer profound writing about the true nature of the world we live in from a Biblical point of view.

Please remember that any and all books we recommend are secondary to and in support of the Holy Bible.

America: A Call to Greatness - Abandonment Theology
John Chalfant
This short volume describes in down to earth, realistic terms, a modern religious faith which is being sold as Christianity by operating in the name of Christ. Chalfant says that in reality, this "feel good" theology which merely patronizes Jesus Christ while at the same time promoting massive disobedience to Gods commands and dereliction of duty as the Bible requires, is destroying the nation. We strongly suggest you read this volume at once. If you have any regard for the future of our nation, whether or not you are Christian, you will not be able to put this book down.

The Art of God: The Heavens and the Earth
Ric Ergenbright
The Art of God is a brilliant collection of pictures from around the world celebrating the beauty of Creation and the artistry of the Lord. The Art of God is not only a delight to the eyes, but also a blessing to the heart.

Money: Ye Shall Have Honest Weights and Measures
James E Ewart
Money, although really gorgeous, is definitely not just a work of art. It is an explosive "whistle-blower" book. It has a bombshell of a message which will likely haunt you for the rest of your life. That is because it blows the whistle not just on financial fraud but also murder and treason.

Back To Basics
David Hagopian
Hailed for its scope, insight, and clarity, this enlightening introduction to Reformed theology calls us to rediscover the richness of reformed faith in four crucial areas: conversion, covenant, the church, and the Christian life. But this book is more than a comprehensive overview of Reformed faith, it also addresses many of the urgent needs of our churches today. Regardless of your appraoch to God, the Bible and "believers", this book will shed new light for those of you who truly want to examine what the Christian faith is all about. For those already well grounded, the book is a welcome refresher. 320 pages, softcover from Presbyterian & Reformed.

Concise Theology : A Guide to Historic Christian Beliefs
JI Packer
In short, concise language, the author provides an outstanding exposition of basic Christian beliefs. This short, 267 page volume presents all the basic great Christian doctrines in 1 to 3 page chapters. Each doctrine is loaded with scripture references to ground the new Christian and reinforce the mature Christian as well. Indispensable as a study guide for a Bible study, a source book for sermons and for profitable individual study as well.

The Science of God
Gerald L. Schroeder
If you were (or are currently) a product of the public school system and a believer in the Bible, you have a problem. The Bible says the universe and all that is in it was created in six days. Science says billions of years. They both can't be right. "Ah", says  nuclear  physicist  Gerald  Schroeder,  "but  they both are right." In a fascinating book, Schroeder details why this is so. God did create the universe in six days, just as He said He did. But to man, it appears as if there was a far longer time involved. And, from man's point of view, there was. Using Einstein's theory of general relativity, Schroeder walks us through a step-by-step process to show us why and how God did it and why science believes it took so long.

I found this book fascinating - an abosute read.  - Dave Upham
